tachycardia; asthenia; pain; pyrexia; chills; dysstasia; palpitations; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter (consumer or other non hcp) from the regulatory authority. the reporter is the patient. other case identifier: gb-mhra-vac-202202121025375070-6q93j (ra) and gb-mhra-adr 26597666 (ra). a 68-year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 10feb2022 (batch/lot number: unknown) as dose 3 (booster), single for covid-19 immunization. relevant medical history included: "adverse drug reaction" (unknown if ongoing), notes: tazacin, cephdazamine and gentamycin. the patient's concomitant medications were not reported. past drug history included: tazocin; ceftazidime and gentamycin. vaccination history included: covid-19 vaccine astrazeneca (dose 1, single) for covid-19 immunization, reaction: "had no reaction"; bnt162b2 (dose 2 (initial pfizer dose), single), for covid-19 immunization, reactions: "interchange of vaccine products" and "felt ill for a week". the following information was reported: tachycardia (medically significant) with onset 12feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "tachycardia"; asthenia (medically significant) with onset 12feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "asthenia"; pain (medically significant) with onset 12feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "pain"; pyrexia (medically significant) with onset 12feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "pyrexia"; chills (medically significant) with onset 12feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "chills"; palpitations (medically significant) with onset feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "palpitations"; dysstasia (medically significant) with onset 12feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "dysstasia". it was reported that within 12 hours of vaccination, the patient felt weak, achy and was unable to stand for long. that evening the patient had pyrexia and shivering badly. at 02:00, the patient woke with a severe tachycardia and was too weak to move. after half an hour of hesitating about calling, the patient's heart rate came down to 95 and oxygen saturation (sats) were reported as 92. the morning of the day of report, the patient still found difficult to stand or do anything. the patient heart races when she tried to move for toilet. this was regarding the patient's second pfizer vaccine. the patient felt ill for a week after the first vaccination with bnt162b2 but without any cardiac issues. the patient had no reaction to astrazeneca vaccine. the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: heart rate: 95 and oxygen saturation: 92. no follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained. no further information is expected
