psoriasis/marks on the underside of arms or chest/psoriasis appeared and has not got any better at all; rash; primary immunisation: astrazeneca; booster: comirnaty; primary immunisation: astrazeneca; booster: comirnaty; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from the regulatory agency. the reporter is the patient. regulatory number: gb-mhra-webcovid-202202141534066600-lwqgf. other case identifier(s): gb-mhra-adr 26602272. a 60-year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 20dec2021 (batch/lot number: unknown) at the age of 60 years as dose 3 (booster), single for covid-19 immunisation. relevant medical history included: "psoriasis" (ongoing), notes: severe psoriasis suffered for around 40 years. concomitant medication included: influenza virus taken for influenza immunisation, administration date nov2021. vaccination history included: covid-19 vaccine astrazeneca (dose 2), administration date: 09jun2021, for covid-19 immunisation; covid-19 vaccine astrazeneca (dose 1), administration date: 20mar2021, for covid-19 immunisation. the following information was reported: off label use (medically significant), interchange of vaccine products (medically significant) all with onset 20dec2021, outcome "unknown" and all described as "primary immunisation: astrazeneca; booster: comirnaty"; psoriasis (medically significant), outcome "not recovered", described as "psoriasis/marks on the underside of arms or chest/psoriasis appeared and has not got any better at all"; rash (medically significant) with onset 27dec2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "rash". the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: (13feb2022) no - negative covid-19 test. clinical course: the patient suffered from psoriasis anyway and had done for almost 40 years. that covered around 90% of the patient's body but before the covid-19 booster, the patient did not have marks on the underside of his arms or on his chest. around a week after the booster, that appeared and had not got any better at all. the patient had tried to contact his local surgery to discuss but they said to report it. it was also reported that no tests or medical opinion was given. patient has not had symptoms associated with covid-19. patient has not tested positive for covid-19 since having the vaccine. patient is not enrolled in clinical trial. the report of the patient was not related to possible inflammation of the heart (myocarditis or pericarditis). no follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained. no further information is expected
