shingles/shingles in face; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from the regulatory authority. the reporter is the patient. regulatory number: gb-mhra-webcovid-202202142106136530-9zjnm (ra). other case identifier(s): gb-mhra-adr 26603848 (ra). a 73 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (pfizer-biontech covid-19 vaccine), administration date 07feb2021 (batch/lot number: unknown) as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunisation. patient has not had symptoms associated with covid-19. relevant medical history included: "anxiety" (unspecified if ongoing); "underactive" (unspecified if ongoing); "cholesterol" (unspecified if ongoing). concomitant medication(s) included: citalopram taken for anxiety; influenza virus, administration date 21oct2021; levothyroxine taken for decreased activity; lipitor taken for blood cholesterol. the following information was reported: herpes zoster (medically significant) with onset 20mar2021, outcome "recovered", described as "shingles/shingles in face". after first vaccine got shingles in face. after second vaccine got pain in all joints. recovered except for continuing pain in base of thumbs. third vaccine was very poorly administered ie needle inserted far too high in arm. extremely sore when injected and had to go after 3 weeks. advised to take pain killers and return if no change. saw doctor after 3 months who advised me, as result of vaccination, i had got tendinitis. given steroid injection but did not help much. got strong pain killers and attended physio. quite a bit easier but tried coming off pain killers but pain returning. not a good vaccination result for the patient!! patient is not enrolled in clinical trial. patient has not tested positive for covid-19 since having the vaccine.the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: no - negative covid-19 test. no follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained. no further information is expected.; sender's comments: linked report(s) : gb-pfizer inc-202200306086 same patient/same product, different dose/events.;gb-pfizer inc-202200306087 same patient/same product, different dose/events
