swelling of the arm around the injection site; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from the ra. a 14 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 17nov2021 (batch/lot number: unknown) at the age of 14 years as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunisation. the patient had no relevant medical history. patient has not had symptoms associated with covid-19. there were no concomitant medications. the patient was fit and healthy. patient is not enrolled in clinical trial. the following information was reported: vaccination site swelling (medically significant) with onset 17nov2021, outcome "recovered" (19nov2021), described as "swelling of the arm around the injection site". the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: negative, notes: patient has not tested positive for covid-19 since having the vaccine. clinical course: patient had swelling of the arm around the injection site. the upper arm visibly swelled up and was hard to touch. swelling went down after 48hrs. it was reported that, this happened with both first and second doses. it was reported that, this adverse reaction did not occur as a result of an exposure during pregnancy. also reported as, this report did not relate to possible inflammation of the heart (myocarditis or pericarditis). no follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained. no further information is expected.; sender's comments: linked report(s) : gb-pfizer inc-202200290314 same patient/vaccine product, different dose/events
